Table type

Table is a container for chains and rules. Tables are the highest-level organizational unit in nftables.

Fields

Field Name Description
name - String! The unique name of the table within its family.
family - TableFamily! The family of the table, determining the address family it processes packets for.
chains - [Chain!] A list of chains belonging to this table.
sets - [Set!] List of sets belonging to this table.

Used by

  • Security type: The security posture of an Endpoint: its firewall, anti-malware and disk encryption state, summarized as per-component health ratings in Health.
