From Frustration to Innovation: Why I Founded Wartiva

As the CTO of a highly regulated NYSE-listed fintech company, tasked with leading a digital transformation, I inherited responsibility for everything from IT help desk and systems administration to PCI/SOX/SOC 2/HIPAA/Part 500 compliance, DBA, DevOps, and R&D across tens of thousands of endpoints, servers, and cloud assets amassed over 25 years of business startups and acquisitions.

It was overwhelming. I didn't have a moment to think about endpoint management, yet it was a constant source of frustration. The industry-leading tools simply didn't deliver on their promises. I could ask anything, but only if the endpoints happened to be online? Are you kidding? And the more we used them, the more they monopolized all our endpoints' precious CPU. Our users complained! I was stunned.

Being CIO is tough enough without having to rely on vendors constantly trying to nickel-and-dime you on fads without addressing the underlying issues in their own platforms.

Then the pandemic struck, and we had thousands of staff working remotely all over the world with zero visibility into remote networks and no idea where anything was physically located.

That's why I founded Wartiva: to deliver the next-generation endpoint management platform I always wished I had. Wartiva is built by and for IT professionals who deeply understand your pain points and know what it's like to walk in your shoes.
