One Graph, One Query Language
GraphQL lets you ask for exactly the data you need and nothing more, following relationships between objects in a single round trip rather than chaining calls and reassembling results yourself. An endpoint links to the applications installed on it, the networks it's connected to, the IoT devices it had connectivity to, and the findings raised against it, and you can walk all of those edges in one query. Every object in your inventory is reachable through the same consistent, strongly typed schema.
Relationships as First-Class API Fields
The relationships between your assets aren't something you reconstruct after the fact; they are fields you traverse directly in the query. Ask an endpoint for its open ports, a network for the devices on it, or a finding for the object it was raised against, and follow those connections outward as far as the investigation requires. The API answers questions about how assets connect, not just what they are.
Time as a Query Dimension
Use GraphQL to query relationships across time as a dimension. For example, ask for the endpoints connected to a network in a specific time window. This turns the API into a temporal record of your environment, ideal for investigation, threat hunting, and reconstructing exactly what was true.
