The collected contents of one file a PathSensor discovered, retrieved with endpointPathEntryContents. The file bytes are only read from storage when contentsAsString is selected, and contentsUrl produces a direct download link without proxying the bytes through the API.
Fields
| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
path - String!
|
The file's absolute path as reported by the endpoint. |
contentsAsString - String
|
The collected file bytes decoded as a UTF-8 string, truncated to the smaller of limit and a hard 10 MB ceiling (10485760 bytes). Returns null when no contents were collected for this file or when the truncated byte range is not valid UTF-8. Note: truncation may split a multibyte rune at the boundary, in which case the result is null — request a slightly smaller limit if that matters. When the file exceeds the effective limit only the first N bytes are decoded. |
|
Arguments
Maximum number of file bytes to decode. Values <= 0 or > 10485760 are clamped to the 10 MB hard limit. |
|
contentsUrl - String
|
A short-lived presigned URL that downloads the raw collected file bytes for this file directly from object storage (no proxy through the API). Null when no contents were collected. The URL is an unauthenticated, time-limited bearer link: anyone holding it can download the file contents until it expires, so treat it as a credential and do not persist or share it. The response body is the unmodified file contents collected by the PathSensor. |
Returned by
endpointPathEntryContentsquery: Retrieves the collected contents of one file path discovered by an EndpointPath — list discovered paths with its entries field.
Used by
EndpointPathEntryContentsPayloadtype: Payload wrapper for a single EndpointPathEntryContents.EndpointPathEntrySearchMatchtype: One path search match: a discovered file entry together with the EndpointPath whose sensor collected it.
