ByteOrderOperation enum

Byte order operation type used in nftables byteorder expressions to convert between host and network byte order. Reference: nftables — Byte order expression

Enum Value Description

NETWORK_TO_HOST

 Convert from network byte order (big-endian) to host byte order (ntoh).

HOST_TO_NETWORK

 Convert from host byte order to network byte order (big-endian) (hton).

Used by

  • ByteOrderExpression type: Convert values between network byte order (big-endian) and host byte order for correct comparisons and storage.
