AceType enum

The semantic class of an Access Control Entry, harmonized across Windows and Darwin ACL models.

Values

Enum Value Description

ACCESS_ALLOWED

 The entry grants the listed permissions to its subject.

ACCESS_DENIED

 The entry denies the listed permissions to its subject; denies override allows.

SYSTEM_AUDIT

 The entry triggers an audit log record when the listed permissions are exercised.

SYSTEM_MANDATORY_LABEL

 Windows integrity-level (mandatory access control) entry. Has no analogue on Darwin.

UNKNOWN

 An entry whose ACE type byte did not match any known value.
