SmbServerNameHardeningLevel enum

Controls the level of server name validation for SMB connections.

Values

Enum Value Description

OFF

 No server name validation is performed.

ACCEPT_IF_PROVIDED_BY_CLIENT

 Accept the server name if provided by the client.

REQUIRE_FROM_CLIENT

 Require the client to provide the server name.

Used by

  • MicrosoftNetworkServerPolicy type: Manages SMB server network settings for authentication, signing, and session timeouts on Windows systems.
