RejectType enum

RejectType specifies the type of rejection message to send for a rejected packet.

Values

Enum Value Description

ICMP

 Reject with an ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol) error message.

TCP_RST

 Reject with a TCP RST (reset) packet, used for TCP connections.

ICMPX

 Reject with an ICMPX error message (IPv6 equivalent of ICMP).

Used by

  • RejectExpression type: RejectExpression represents an nftables expression for rejecting a packet.
