PayloadBase enum

PayloadBase specifies the base offset from which to start reading or writing in the packet.

Values

Enum Value Description

LL_HEADER

 Start at the beginning of the link-layer header (e.g., Ethernet header).

NETWORK_HEADER

 Start at the beginning of the network-layer header (e.g., IPv4/IPv6 header).

TRANSPORT_HEADER

 Start at the beginning of the transport-layer header (e.g., TCP/UDP header).

Used by

  • PayloadExpression type: PayloadExpression represents an nftables expression for accessing and manipulating packet payload data at various layers (link, network, transport).
