PartitionType enum

Represents possible types of disk partitions.

Values

Enum Value Description

UNKNOWN

 Partition type is not known or could not be determined.

READ_ONLY

 Partition is flagged read-only; write operations are not permitted.

HIDDEN

 Partition is hidden and normally not exposed or mounted by the OS (OEM, recovery, or system data).

DO_NOT_AUTOMOUNT

 Partition should not be auto-mounted by the operating system.

SYSTEM_PARTITION

 System partition containing essential boot or system management data (e.g. boot manager files).

LEGACY_BIOS_BOOTABLE

 Partition marked bootable for legacy BIOS/MBR boot (active flag set).

BOOTABLE_DOS

 Bootable DOS partition formatted or flagged for DOS-era boot compatibility.
