KerberosEncryptionType enum

Kerberos encryption types allowed for authentication.

Values

Enum Value Description

DES_CBC_CRC

 DES encryption with CRC checksum (weak, legacy).

DES_CBC_MD5

 DES encryption with MD5 checksum (weak, legacy).

RC4_HMAC_MD5

 RC4 encryption with HMAC-MD5 checksum.

AES128_HMAC_SHA1

 AES 128-bit encryption with SHA-1 HMAC.

AES256_HMAC_SHA1

 AES 256-bit encryption with SHA-1 HMAC.

Used by

  • NetworkSecurityPolicy type: Controls local security authority, Kerberos, and NTLM parameters for network authentication and encryption policies on Windows.
