ElevationPromptBehavior enum

Controls how UAC elevation prompts are presented to administrators or standard users.

Enum Value Description

AUTOMATICALLY_DENY_ELEVATION_REQUESTS

 Automatically deny elevation requests without prompting.

PROMPT_FOR_CREDENTIALS_ON_THE_SECURE_DESKTOP

 Prompt for credentials on the secure desktop.

PROMPT_FOR_CREDENTIALS

 Prompt for credentials on the standard desktop.

ELEVATE_WITHOUT_PROMPTING

 Elevate without prompting (no UAC prompt shown).

PROMPT_FOR_CONSENT_ON_THE_SECURE_DESKTOP

 Prompt for consent on the secure desktop.

PROMPT_FOR_CONSENT

 Prompt for consent on the standard desktop.

PROMPT_FOR_CONSENT_FOR_NON_WINDOWS_BINARIES

 Prompt for consent for non-Windows binaries.
