AuthReason enum

The reason a TCC authorization was granted or denied.

Values

Enum Value Description

ERROR

 An error occurred during authorization.

USER_CONSENT

 The user explicitly consented.

USER_SET

 The user set the authorization manually.

SYSTEM_SET

 The system set the authorization.

SERVICE_POLICY

 Set by a service-level policy.

MDM_POLICY

 Set by an MDM policy.

OVERRIDE_POLICY

 Set by an override policy.

MISSING_USAGE_STRING

 Missing privacy usage description string in the app.

PROMPT_TIMEOUT

 The authorization prompt timed out.

PREFLIGHT_UNKNOWN

 Preflight check returned unknown status.

ENTITLED

 The application is entitled to access.

APP_TYPE_POLICY

 Set by an app type policy.

UNKNOWN

 Authorization reason is unknown.
