# `WlanInterface` type

A wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) adapter on an [Endpoint](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/endpoint.html), collected from Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints by the periodic Wi-Fi inventory. It records the adapter's radio and connection state and maps to the general-purpose [Interface](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/interface.html) for the same adapter. Its current association is a [WlanInterfaceConnection](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/wlan-interface-connection.html), and the Wi-Fi networks its scans can see are [WlanNetwork](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/wlan-network.html) objects.
