# `WlanDot11PhysicalType` enum

The Wireless LAN physical layer type or standard.

## Values

| Enum Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `UNKNOWN` | Physical type is not available or not recognized. |
| `FHSS` | Frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS). |
| `DSSS` | Direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS). |
| `IR` | Infrared (IR) baseband |
| `IEEE_802_11A` | IEEE 802.11a - orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) PHY type. |
| `IEEE_802_11B` | IEEE 802.11b - high-rate DSSS (HRDSSS). |
| `IEEE_802_11G` | IEEE 802.11g - extended-rate PHY (ERP). |
| `IEEE_802_11N` | IEEE 802.11n. |
| `IEEE_802_11AC` | IEEE 802.11ac. |
| `IEEE_802_11AD` | IEEE 802.11ad. |
| `IEEE_802_11AX` | IEEE 802.11ax. |
| `IEEE_802_11BE` | IEEE 802.11be. |
| `IHV` | Independent hardware vendor (IHV). |
