# `UserSystemSettings` type

The per-user operating system configuration of one user account on an [Endpoint](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/endpoint.html), complementing the machine-wide [SystemSettings](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/system-settings.html). Collected on macOS only, it carries [UserSystemSettingsMacOS](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/user-system-settings-mac-os.html), read from the user's own preference domains and account record: screen saver idle time and whether a password is required after sleep or screen saver, Universal Control, Siri and search data sharing, Bluetooth sharing, the user's location daemon preference and whether a password hint is set. One UserSystemSettings exists per (endpoint, user) pair; it is linked to its [EndpointUser](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/endpoint-user.html) and is reachable from that user's `userSystemSettings` field rather than directly from the Endpoint.
