# `TableFamily` enum

The family of the nftables table, indicating which network protocols it applies to. Each table belongs to exactly one family; rules within the table only process packets of that family. Reference: [nftables — Configuring tables](https://wiki.nftables.org/wiki-nftables/index.php/Configuring_tables)

## Values

| Enum Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `UNSPECIFIED` | Unspecified family. |
| `IPV4` | IPv4 address family; applies to IPv4 packets only. |
| `IPV6` | IPv6 address family; applies to IPv6 packets only. |
| `INET` | Combined IPv4/IPv6 family; applies to both IPv4 and IPv6 packets. |
| `ARP` | ARP address family; applies to ARP packets. |
| `BRIDGE` | Bridge family; applies to Ethernet bridging packets. |
| `NETDEV` | Network device family; applies to ingress/egress hooks on a specific device. |
