# `SMTP` type

SMTP Service. The objective of the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) is to transfer mail reliably and efficiently. Refer to this RFC: [RFC 5321 — Simple Mail Transfer Protocol](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc5321)

## Fields

| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
| `banner` - [`String!`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/string.html) | Banner returned by the SMTP server. |
| `tlsSupport` - [`Boolean!`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/boolean.html) | TLS Support |
| `isOpenRelay` - [`Boolean!`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/boolean.html) | Is Open Relay. True if server is improperly configured and allows an unauthenticated relay of email. False if did not accept a relaying. |
| `tls` - [`TLS`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/tls.html) | Details of the TLS connection the server negotiated over STARTTLS, including the certificate chain it presented and whether that chain verifies. Null when no TLS handshake was observed. |
