# `ServiceErrorControl` enum

Error control behavior of a Windows service if it fails to start.

## Values

| Enum Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `IGNORE` | The error is logged but startup continues. |
| `NORMAL` | The error is logged and a message box is displayed if possible. |
| `SEVERE` | The error is logged and the system is restarted using the last-known-good configuration. |
| `CRITICAL` | The error is logged and the system fails if it cannot restart using the last-known-good configuration. |
