# `SecuritySubCategoryReference` type

See [SecurityFramework](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/security-framework.html). Null when the section, its product, or that product's framework is undefined in this deployment. |
| `category` - [`SecurityCategory`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/security-category.html) | The product this section belongs to, repeated here so a section reference stands on its own. See [SecurityCategory](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/security-category.html). Null when the section or its product is undefined in this deployment. |
| `subCategory` - [`SecuritySubCategory`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/security-sub-category.html) | The section. See [SecuritySubCategory](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/security-sub-category.html). Null when this deployment has no definition for the section; read `subCategoryId` for the filing itself. |
| `subCategoryId` - [`SecuritySubCategoryId!`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/security-sub-category-id.html) | The section's id, always present. Read this rather than `subCategory.id` when reconstructing a [SecuritySubCategoryReferenceInput](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/security-sub-category-reference-input.html): the descriptor above is null when the deployment has no definition for the section, but the filing itself is still this id. |
