# `OsProductType` enum

Machine role of an operating system: desktop/workstation, server, or Active Directory domain controller. Reference: [OSVERSIONINFOEXW structure](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/winnt/ns-winnt-osversioninfoexw)

## Values

| Enum Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `DESKTOP` | Desktop or workstation operating system (OS type value 1). Always assigned on macOS. |
| `DOMAIN_CONTROLLER` | Active Directory domain controller (OS type value 2). |
| `SERVER` | Server operating system that is not a domain controller (OS type value 3). |
