# `NetworkType` enum

The type of network distinguishing how it is uniquely identified.

## Values

| Enum Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `REMOTE` | A Network discovered by a managed Endpoint that is in a remote environment where the IP network may or may not be unique across the Organization. |
| `PREMISE` | A Network that is a known managed facility, part of the organization, where the IP network is expected to be unique across all other PREMISE type networks in the Organization. Usually discovered by a managed Endpoint acting as a server hard wired to the network. |
| `LINK_LOCAL` | A Network using a link-local network address: 169.254.0.0/16 or fe80::/10. |
