# `KeyProtectionMode` enum

Controls when user input is required to access stored private keys.

## Values

| Enum Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `USER_INPUT_NOT_REQUIRED_WHEN_KEYS_ARE_STORED_AND_USED` | User input is not required when keys are stored and used. |
| `USER_IS_PROMPTED_WHEN_KEY_FIRST_USED` | User is prompted when the key is first used. |
| `USER_MUST_ENTER_PASSWORD_EACH_TIME_KEY_IS_USED` | User must enter a password each time the key is used. |
