# `ExecCommand` type

A single command line declared in a systemd unit's `ExecStart=`, `ExecStop=`, or `ExecReload=` directives, augmented with runtime data from its last invocation.

## Fields

| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
| `path` - [`String!`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/string.html) | Absolute path of the binary to execute. |
| `argv` - [`[String!]!`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/string.html) | Full argv passed to the process, including argv[0]. Note that argv[0] is not necessarily equal to [path](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/exec-command.html) — services may launch a binary under a different name. |
| `ignoreFailure` - [`Boolean!`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/boolean.html) | If true, failures of this command (non-zero exit, fatal signal, or coredump) do not cause the unit to fail. Mirrors the `-` prefix on `ExecStart=` lines: prefix present ⇒ true. |
| `startRealtime` - [`Time`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/time.html) | Process start time on `CLOCK_REALTIME` (wall clock). Null when the command has not run yet. (D-Bus `t`, the first of four timestamp fields in the tuple) |
| `startMonotonicUsec` - [`Uint64`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/uint64.html) | Process start time on `CLOCK_MONOTONIC`, in microseconds since boot. Useful for computing elapsed time relative to other monotonic timestamps on the same boot. Null when the command has not run yet. |
| `finishRealtime` - [`Time`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/time.html) | Process exit time on `CLOCK_REALTIME` (wall clock). Null when the command is still running, has not run yet, or this field is not collected by the endpoint sensor. |
| `finishMonotonicUsec` - [`Uint64`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/uint64.html) | Process exit time on `CLOCK_MONOTONIC`, in microseconds since boot. Null when the command is still running, has not run yet, or this field is not collected by the endpoint sensor. |
| `pid` - [`Uint32`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/uint32.html) | PID of the last invocation. Null when the command has not run yet. (D-Bus `u`) |
| `exitReason` - [`ExitReason!`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/exit-reason.html) | Reason the last invocation terminated. See [ExitReason](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/exit-reason.html). |
| `exitStatus` - [`Int`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/int.html) | Exit value of the last invocation. When [exitReason](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/exit-reason.html) is `EXITED`, this is the value passed to `_exit(2)` (0–255). When it is `KILLED` or `DUMPED`, this is the signal number that terminated the process. Null when the command has not run or has not finished not finished |

## Used by

- [`SystemServiceLinux`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/system-service-linux.html) type: Linux-specific attributes for a System Service (systemd).
