# `DNS` type

Domain Name System (DNS) service.

## Fields

| `bindVersionAnswer` - [`String!`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/string.html) | Answer returned by DNS server to dns.Question{Name: "version.bind.", Qtype: dns.TypeTXT, Qclass: dns.ClassCHAOS} |
| `bindHostnameAnswer` - [`String!`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/string.html) | Answer returned by DNS server to dns.Question{Name: "hostname.bind.", Qtype: dns.TypeTXT, Qclass: dns.ClassCHAOS} |
| `tlsSupport` - [`Boolean!`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/boolean.html) | Whether the resolver answered over DNS-over-TLS (RFC 7858). False for a resolver reached over plain UDP or TCP, where every query and answer crosses the network in the clear. |
| `tls` - [`TLS`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/tls.html) | Details of the DNS-over-TLS connection the resolver negotiated, including the certificate chain it presented and whether that chain verifies. Null when no TLS handshake was observed. |
