# `DiskMountOption` enum

## Values

| Enum Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `READ_WRITE` | Mount read-write. |
| `READ_ONLY` | Mount read-only. |
| `SYNCHRONOUS` | All writes are synchronous (macOS flag name; see also SYNC). |
| `NO_EXEC` | Disallow program execution. |
| `NO_SUID` | Ignore setuid bits. |
| `UNION` | Union with underlying file system (macOS). |
| `ASYNC` | All writes are asynchronous. |
| `DONT_BROWSE` | Do not show in Finder (macOS). |
| `AUTO_MOUNTED` | Filesystem was mounted automatically (macOS). |
| `JOURNALED` | Filesystem is journaled (macOS HFS+). |
| `MULTI_LABEL` | Mandatory access control multi-label (macOS). |
| `NO_ATIME` | Do not update inode access times. |
| `NO_DEV` | Disallow device file access. |
| `COMPRESS` | Enable filesystem-level compression (btrfs, APFS). |
| `ATIME` | Update inode access times. |
| `NOATIME` | Do not update inode access times. |
| `AUTO` | Allow automatic mounting (Linux fstab). |
| `NOAUTO` | Disable automatic mounting (Linux fstab). |
| `CONTEXT` | Apply SELinux context label (Linux). |
| `FSCONTEXT` | Apply SELinux filesystem context label (Linux). |
| `DEFCONTEXT` | Apply SELinux default context label (Linux). |

| `RELATIME` | Update atime only on reads (less frequently) (Linux). |
| `NORELATIME` | Disable relatime behavior (Linux). |
| `STRICTATIME` | Always update access times (Linux). |
| `NOSTRICTATIME` | Do not always update access times (Linux). |
| `LAZYTIME` | Delay writing to disk; batch atime updates (Linux). |
| `NOLAZYTIME` | Disable lazytime behavior (Linux). |
| `SUID` | Honor setuid bits (Linux). |
| `NOSUID` | Ignore setuid bits. |
| `SILENT` | Suppress certain kernel warning messages (Linux). |
| `LOUD` | Enable kernel warning messages (Linux). |
