# `DarwinFlags` enum

Decoded Darwin chflags bit. Values come from the UF_/SF_ constants in <sys/stat.h>. UF_ bits are user- writable; SF_ bits can only be set by the super-user.

## Values

| Enum Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `UF_NODUMP` | User-writable: file should not be archived by dump(8). |
| `UF_IMMUTABLE` | User-writable: file may not be changed. |
| `UF_APPEND` | User-writable: writes to the file may only append. |
| `UF_OPAQUE` | User-writable: directory is opaque to a union mount. |
| `UF_COMPRESSED` | User-writable: file is transparently compressed by the filesystem. |
| `UF_TRACKED` | User-writable: file is marked as tracked for change tracking subsystems. |
| `UF_DATAVAULT` | User-writable: file is part of an APFS data vault. |
| `UF_HIDDEN` | User-writable: file is hidden in Finder. |
| `SF_ARCHIVED` | Super-user-only: file has been archived. |
| `SF_IMMUTABLE` | Super-user-only: file may not be changed (stronger than UF_IMMUTABLE; cannot be cleared while booted). |
| `SF_APPEND` | Super-user-only: writes to the file may only append. |
| `SF_RESTRICTED` | Super-user-only: file is restricted by System Integrity Protection. |
| `SF_NOUNLINK` | Super-user-only: file may not be unlinked, even by root. |
| `SF_FIRMLINK` | Super-user-only: file participates in firmlink redirection (used by macOS to overlay /System on /). |
| `SF_DATALESS` | Super-user-only: file's data is currently dataless (offloaded to cloud / external storage). |
