# `AuthReason` enum

The reason a TCC authorization was granted or denied.

## Values

| Enum Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `ERROR` | An error occurred during authorization. |
| `USER_CONSENT` | The user explicitly consented. |
| `USER_SET` | The user set the authorization manually. |
| `SYSTEM_SET` | The system set the authorization. |
| `SERVICE_POLICY` | Set by a service-level policy. |
| `MDM_POLICY` | Set by an MDM policy. |
| `OVERRIDE_POLICY` | Set by an override policy. |
| `MISSING_USAGE_STRING` | Missing privacy usage description string in the app. |
| `PROMPT_TIMEOUT` | The authorization prompt timed out. |
| `PREFLIGHT_UNKNOWN` | Preflight check returned unknown status. |
| `ENTITLED` | The application is entitled to access. |
| `APP_TYPE_POLICY` | Set by an app type policy. |
| `UNKNOWN` | Authorization reason is unknown. |
