# `wlanInterface` query

Retrieves a [WlanInterface](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/wlan-interface.html) by its graph object id: a Wi-Fi adapter on a Windows, macOS, or Linux endpoint, with its radio and connection state. An [Endpoint](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/endpoint.html) lists its current adapters through `wlanInterfaces` and their history through `wlanInterfacesSeen`; the adapter lists its connections and the [WlanNetwork](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/wlan-network.html) objects it can see. Find them across endpoints with [graphSearch](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/queries/graph-search.html) on the WLAN_INTERFACE object type. Returns a not-found error when no object has the id, and an error when the id belongs to another object type.

## Response

Returns a [`WlanInterfacePayload!`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/wlan-interface-payload.html)
