# `positionSeen` query

Retrieves a [PositionSeen](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/position-seen.html) by its graph object id: a geographic coordinate where endpoints, and the devices and networks they see, were observed, with when they were seen there. An [Endpoint](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/endpoint.html) lists its positions through `positions`, `lastPosition`, and `primaryPosition`; find them across the organization with [graphSearch](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/queries/graph-search.html) on the POSITION_SEEN object type. Returns a not-found error when no object has the id, and an error when the id belongs to another object type.

Returns a [`PositionSeenPayload!`](https://wartiva.com/api-docs/types/position-seen-payload.html)
